No I haven't!  Wow!  Has anyone else seen this before?  I wonder if you can buy it if you live outside of CA

BM has one on their site but has the mag. reciever blocked off and capped. I'd rather just buy a lower from this company with the actual mag. I'm glad to see these company's getting creative.......

My Vulcan V-15 receiver is excellant. However, the magazine that was pinned in was a serious POS! I changed it out for a Bushmaster 10rd and it works fine.
Check out the California forum

Here's a hot link to the product.  It looks like they use a 20rd magazine box for their "10 round internal magazine," though this may not be the case.  I'd think they'd mention the 20 round look in the ad...

Yes there are some recievers that are allowed into cali since they are not listed on the ban, but I still believe that you cannot make them evil since they have a pistol grip and take a detachable mag.

So the loophole is not really a loophole since you still cannot make it into a complete evil rifle without breaking the law...

California...a state with gun laws even more fucked up then Connecticuts laws...

Ahh, gotcha. Thanks

Calif legal lowers are not a "loophole" , although the gun grabbers will call it that.

The CAlif DOJ does not have certain AR/AK lowers listed in the AW ban, however SB23 "evil features ban" still applies.  If you get a non-list reciever, you must put a fixed 10 round mag in it. (until they add it to the AW list).

When the DOJ adds these models to the offical list, they become mandatory AW and owners can register them or remove them from the state.  If they are registed AW, then the owners can add "evil features" (ie pistol grip, det mag)

The CA DOJ has known about this for several months and have not added the non-list recievers to the AW list, therefore they are legal, and there are letters from the DOJ that says they are legal.

However, the DOJ is planning to update the AW list soon, so this won't last long.

So you're saying that I can buy the lower legally in CA and when they add them to the list I will be able to add a detachable Mag? In Ca. you have to register all guns when purchased so it will have to be regesterd anyways. What gun dealer or Fll will deal with these in Socal? The guy's at turners outdoorsman are bone heads?

I guess it's neat, but it defeats the AR-ness of it.

Costs 9 times as much as an SKS and takes 5 times as long to reload.

I don't know...I think if you're going to live in Commie-ville, you've got better options.

I guess if you can't live w/o an AR, that would be marginally ok. I would rather have a CMP M1 Garand delivered to my door if I was stuck in CA.

The topic in this thread causes me to ask the question: WHY LIVE IN CALIFORNIA?  High taxes, a liberal/socialist government, and ludicrous firearms laws.  I'm not knocking those of you who live there and this is just my own opinion.  I personally wouldn't live anywhere I couldn't get a signature on my form-4s or where I couldn't circumvent the signature by forming a corp.
