I own an A4 upper i purchased from BRAVO CO.  After installing the YHM's i noticed that it is slightly canted to the right side. Not noticeable at first glace, but is a few hairs off on closer inspection. Is this to be expected?  Is there anything i can do to align the upper rail in the handguards to the upper rail on the receiver?

From what it sounds like...I don't think there is anything to worry about but I haven't seen it.

Can you post pics?

If I remember right the YHM HG’s use two index pins on the upper half that lock into the barrel nut. You might try tightening the barrel nut a bit more to level the HG’s out, that is if tightening the barrel nut does not effect the gas tube positioning.

I put the A2 plastic handguards back on and took a closer look at them and noticed that they too were also ever so slightly canted clockwise.  Not the FSB, but the front handguard cap seem like it might be crooked.  Maybe the hole cut in the cap is not perfectly centered.

Quib- How would i go about tightning a barrel nut?  There is'nt much room to play with the front cap as the hole for the gas tube is quite small/tight.

The YHM 2-piece by the way fits VERY tight.

Bravo Co sent me a response....on Christmas Day!!  Gave a good deal more info to them about the issue.

I dont have a digital camera or any other means of posting a picture.  It would be something you would have to look at very closely.  To further test i placed an OKO sight between the top rail of the YHM and the upper reciever it was more noticeable how off it was. I was not able to secure the OKO on straight.-not that you'd want to intall a sight between the handguard and upper receiver.
