Perhaps they are just talking the 7mm-08. Barrel extension, bolt, magazine would all be the same. I have been building the 7mm-08 on the AR-10 platform for years. Where it is no where near as popular, nation wide, as the .308, I can't imagine that they would do it.

Or perhaps by 7mm they mean 6.8 but are calling it something else for whatever reason. Like with the various names for the .300 Whisper. Or Alexander Arms calling 5.45x39mm .21 Ghengis.
