I understand that you just take off the A2 stock by removing the screw and slide this one on.  Does it have to be a mil spect buffer tube or will Bushmasters work?

It just needs one of these instead of that chinsy level.

Any idea how much it would cost?

250 I believe

$250 is correct.  We purchased one (1) unit in OD, and dropped it on one of our department's DM RRA.

The guys have been playing with it all week, and so far love it.  Trying it out with a few different optic setups; only complaint (if you can call it that) is the control wheels are somewhat tight.  I prefer that to loose any day

Umm....  Magpul.

Magpul direct is the only source I know of so far.

This was my first dealing with them, and can I say they were outstanding.  Received the stock 6 days (thats days, not working days) from the order.

Fit and finish are perfect.  This is a test stock for us, so it will not stay pretty.  I will say that there was an inadvertant "drop test" from 3 1/2 feet and the stock, other than scratched slightly took it in stride.

Something for you to be aware of is, if you use any sort of drag-bag, the internal suspension straps may not work.  We have a variety (Eagle, BH, Galati) and have found that on at least one the straps did not quite jibe if you will with the stock.

Oh, and just for $#@t's and tickles, wouldn't a tan version just be bitchin?

Wes,
By any chance do you have a weight on that LaRue Upper Receiver I saw in the Magpul PRS thread?

I mean the receiver alone - no BCG/barrel/optic.

Thanks,
Forest

Well that just tickles my wedding tackle.  There was no mention of tan when we ordered, just black, OD and a flat black or similar color.

Very nice though.  We would never use it at the PD, but would like it for one of my personal rifles.

NO REAL IDEA ON THE WEIGHT AT THIS POINT. MUCH MORE THAN A FORGED ONE, NO DOUBT!

WE SHOULD HAVE A DOZEN OR SO OF THESE STOCKS ON HAND SOON.
