You could decide to buy a good one, then ship it to KKF and have him install it for you while he's got the barrel.

not a bad idea, I didn't think of that. my barrel shipped out last wednesday. i may try and get in touch with him. on the other hand, why does it seem like the RAS II is a thing of the past, and where can you get one for a good price? |

Knights products are all a little hard to find right now. My guess is because they are super busy supplying the military with many of their products they sell to them. RAS II is a great forend, lightweight, and rigid. Hands down it is the easiest of all of them to install. But most oeioke would rather their FF rail did not attach to the upper recievers rail. The RAS II does. If you can find a RAS II, I would go ahead and pick one up, I have one and it is on one of my very favorite and most used guns. But if you cant find one, getting a LaRue and having KKF install it for you is another fine idea. One Im sure you will be very pleased with.
