The plastic ones are just cheap imitations. Nothing more or less.
I've got a pair of M33 guards that I melted the heat shield right out of after an extended bump firing session. You can get a set of YHM guards for around $115... save your money and buy right the first time. |

I personally would saty away from the plastic. Aluminum ones are cheap enough in my opinion for it not to be an issue

Got some from First Samco, save your bucks. The FF tube I got from DelTon (YHM) is far more superior. Go with aluminum.
