my manual had an insert about breaking in match barrels..

sight just says 16in crome lined

any help would be great

If it's chrome-lined, all you need to do is put a couple hundred rounds through it to get a "polish" on the chrome-lining without cleaning, and then run a couple patches down the barrel to clean it.

Standard Armalites have standard chrome lined barrels. I imagine they have that insert in all the mannuals, but thats just a guess.

Chrome-lined barrels are NOT "match barrels" by any measure.
I looked down a chrome lined armalite barrel that I was working on this weekend.
The throat was just as crooked as the day it was new...
