Barrel length includes the threads. They are on the barrel not some additional part.

you're making it too complicated.
an 11.5 inch barrel is 11.5 inches long. lol....threads are part of the barrel, rgiht? permananetly attached? THen yes, they count ;) |

Thanks i know it sounds stupid but im cutting a 16 down to a 11.5 to attach a permenant brake and did not want to fudge it up Thanks again
