I just got a AAC can and after 4 months of waiting on paperwork  the f-ing thing will not fit any of my RRAs
It will fit a colt  so I borrowed a upper so i can try  the darn thing out
the adaptor goes over the barrel about a inch
colts are .690   RRA is .720
I prefer bushmaster barrels for the $$
and will probably pick up a BM if it will fit
thanks for your time I appeciate it

Why does it overlap the barrel itself behind the threads? Is it a QD model? My thread-mount SRT Hurricane just tightens up flush to the barrel's shoulder.

An old bushy upper that I have sitting here measures 0.700".

It happens to be a post-ban bbl, btw.

EDIT - my new'ish 16" bushmaster M4 profile no-ban bbl measures in at 0.698"

would it not be different for the different barrel profiles?
different barrel profiles will yield different thickness

from what I have seen except between pencil barrels and others
most barrels are the same dia  at that spot  within a manufacturer
