I like the look of this hand guard but have no idea who makes it.  Anyone have any guesses?

Thanks,
Sean

HK

http://www.hkdefense.us/pages/military-le/rifles-carbines/hk416.html

An innovative free-floating 4-quadrant rail system designed by HK allows all current standard accessories and sights to be fitted to the HK416 and can be removed without tools.

HK Germany makes it.   Just like the gun, few American components and even less American Labor.

Close except for the vent/ weight reduction holes.

Looks close enough for govt. work at any rate.

Thanks. I should've known HK made the rail system too.  I knew they made the gun, just didn't know if they were sourcing the forearm from someone else.   Damn, if only HK would sell these to the public. Sweet looking rig.

So, PBIR, who makes that forearm you posted a pic of?  It looks nice too.

It's made by B&T, the company the two guys above me referenced.

No provisions for the ubiquitous KAC rail covers, and it's higher than a standard A3.  Fucking HK.....

Think I've pretty much decided to go with a L-W gas piston and the Grenadier Precision guards.  Now I just have to wait until they can custom make the design I'm after.  ;)

Thanks for the help fellas.
