I recently purchased a Yankee Hill 5C2 Phamtom supressor. I'm having a problem lining up the closed slotted section up so it is at  the 6 o'clock position. When I screw it on on the barrel it lines up around 1'oclock. Does anyone have any ideas how to correct this?
Thanks,

You've got a crush washer right?

You need a crush washer or a peel washer.

If you bought the suppressor new it should have came with a crush washer.

you need a washer. If you're not using one don't  try to force it.

Does anyone know if the 5C2 affects accuracy?

is that the 5 slot version?  Get a crush washer, but I've had problem crushing them in the past, so I usually use sand off the washer little by little until it's 1/4turn from desired position and then try to clamp it down and crush it to size.

crush washer helps to align the ports.

what i do to crush it to make it easier is tighten, loosen, tighten a little more, loosen and tighten till i get to where i need to be.
