I thought swapping FSB's was a real PITA if you were not set up to do gunsmithing.
The tapper pins rarely line up correctly and getting the FSB mounted without any cant is virtually impossible without a jig? Someone please correct me if I am wrong. |

Well, the ones from bravo company are undrilled, so I think he'll have to custom mount them anyways. I'd take the time to do it right.

We do have some in stock, just not enough inventory to put up on the website.
Just as a note: The install of a new FSB to an exsisting drilled barrel is NOT an easy thing to do. But if you would like one, please give us a call and we will get one out to you. Thanks! |

Understatement of the year  Not trying to take any business away from Bravo, but why would one go to the trouble of changing the sight base, when Bushmaster will happily sell you the same higher front sight post that Colt used on it's carbines up til the M4? Does the same thing, and a heck of a lot less hassle than changing the whole damn base over.

I'm not changing my base I have a new barrel that has never had any sight/gas block installed.

I would echo what Shamayim said, replacing these FSB is too much work when you can just get a taller FSP from DPMS or Bushmaster. Lots of folks get new FSB to do Postban/Preban conversions, but. . . .still a lot of work.
