The MGI system has been out for a little while now, but hasn't got much attention, at least not as much as the MRP has.
ETA: Now if they made one with a midlength or rifle length tube that a guy could mount longer barrels under with low profile gas blocks, it might be something to look at. |

I would love this system with a midlengh tube that had a Rail permantly mounted on top that sat flush with the upper reciever!
