I would still like to have it be chrome lined & a 5.56 chamber.  The delays I'm hearing about on this thread make me hesitant to order a Bushy.  I know that Model 1 sells this barrel but it doesn't appear to be chrome lined.

Are there any other options?

i think you could get it chrome lined for an extra $50 i believe.

try asking eagle firearms if they have it or how long it would take them to get one for you. thats where i got mine.

Eagle firearms sells Bushy barrels also. You'd have to email them, they dont list everything on their site.

CMMG sells M4 profile 1/7 CL and they also list a lightweight.  I don't know if that is exactly what you want, but it might be worth looking at.

Quoted:
Using Mil-Spec 4150 steel is most important when using a LW/A1 barrel, as these barrels heat up very quickly.  4140 starts losing structrual strength at much lower temperatures.  Not a problem for a bolt rifle, but for a hi-cap mag-fed semi-auto, that's not good.  It's one of the reasons that the Mini-14 is so bad when it heats up.

So then, does this mean I'm stuck waiting on the Bushmaster?

I do have a Giffman barrel coming that I could theoretically have turned down, but then it's going to be a $300 barrel which seems silly.

CMMG M4 is 4150.

Which I would still be stuck having turned down to true lightweight.

This barrel is intended for an ultralight carbine built on a Cavarms lower & slickside A1 upper.

They have a lightweight listed also, but I don't know what steel was used.  I would suggest you call them.  I think the lightweight is the last barrel listed on their barrel page.

I saw that one, but based on the description I dont' think it's chrome lined or 4150.
