I just got a Larue 9.0, the quality and thinness etc are so nice I had to order a rifle length to replace my knights one on my SPR, will post pics when I get that. Also I was able to get a PRI gas block under it, I had to use the holes in the rail to screw it on, I put the rail on first and then the gas block, it was annoying but not too hard.

11.5, and I would have gotten the Larue, I already had a PRI however, so why spend more $$$$

Is that a chrome-moly "white" M4 barrel cut to 11.5" ??

Sure is, It was a 14.5 m4 profile that had a brake permenantly attached, so I got it cut down with the end of the ban. Also got my lower SBRd

Very cool!

When my sbr paperwork comes back I want a 10.5 AND an 11.5 upper in the Larue 9.0.
I want the 11.5 to put my suppressor on (need 11.5 to keep the warranty on the can).

Easy to buy 10.5s but I'll probably have to do like you and have a 11.5 cut from a longer barrel.

ETA: RustedAce- who did you have cut your barrel down?

The reason I had mine cut down to 11.5 instead of 10 is the silincer issue, I have one on order just waiting for the paperwork to clear.

I got adco to cut it down.

How is accuracy with the 11.5 inch setup? Thats what I will have to do is SBR mine.sweet! What twist is yours? Wondering which it should  be a 1/9 or 1/7 barrel shortned to 11.5"  to get best overall accuracy figure it would make a big difference at that short? I would think 1/7 be best. My hbar post to be one but don't knoe for sure it shoots real good and its a older upper, maybe a colt but its a a1 upper reciever want to switch it to a3 FT. The hbar is 16". Wondering to cut it down or find another 1/7 barrel to cut down. I like 14.5" m4 myself with perminant brake that I had but heck might as well have a 14.5"one and also a 11.5",take this 16" and cut it down to 11.5". Whats best way to determine rifling twist since its not marked no where on barrel. I know you can use a rod but not sure what to use to make it stay in rifling to count twist.
