At one time I remember reading about a ar15 lower that was set up to use ak47 mags . So can I get a stripped receiver for such an animal. I do not want an ak47.I like the ar15 so much better and I will get one in 7.62x39 as soon as the mag problems are solved.

OK, I looked around with my eyes opened this time and found a topic dealing with this. Here is the link. http://www.ar47.com/ The only negitive I see with this besides the cost of lower is having to machine your upper and bolt to make it work. Another cost if you can not do it your self. I am still thinking about it. I have to add all the cost up first.
