SSK Industries. They designed it years ago, everbody else copy it. SSK is $$$$.

.300 Fireball is the OAI term for the .300 Whisper, they couldn't call their's a .300 Whisper bc the term is trademarked.
So, what caliber are you looking for? SSK+1 |

I understand about the designations
I already own a contender chambered in the 300 whisper I am looking for an AR15 chambered in it 300/221, 300 fireball, and 300 whisper are all the same cartridge I really don't want to spend 1100.00 on the SSK Upper |

Maybe I am not making myself clear, sorry
I don't want to pay 1100.00 for a SSK upper I am looking for an opinion on alternatives Model 1, DelTron (sp), others??? What are people who shoot this cartridge using for an upper? Thanks |

Go to the industry section and contact Kurts Kustom Firearms. Mine works great. Now if only my locality will sign off on my can!
The other point of contact is www.AR15 barrels.com. I also have one of theirs. It works, too! The key is deciding if you want to fire only subsonic or super and sub sonic. I have adjustable gas tubes in both of my uppers, so I can fire anything, and so I can tune them when I finally get a can. Tom  |
