Here is the deal. I have an A-1 upper with a 20" barrel. I am wanting to remove the barrel and have it cut down to a 16" dissipator. Where can I have this done? How long might this take? Please help! Thanks........Kevin

If you know someone in a machine shop you can do it yourself.  I have cut barrels down in the past without any trouble. I ended up having to turn the barrel down, re-drill the gas hole, and re-cut for the sight pins.  Takes time but cheaper then giving others your money.
