The Rifle:
 - RRA mid-length, chrome lined barrel with lightweight profile from Adco - Troy MRF-M - RRA enhanced bolt carrier - H buffer - Wolfe extra power recoil spring - MagPul buttstock - Accuracy Speaks trigger - Vortex flash hider - Aimpoint CompM-XD with QRP mount - Larue BUIS How it shoots:  20 rounds Black Hills remanufactured 69gr fired on an indoor 50 yard range from a sandbag sitting on a bench that was on wheels and rocked from side to side. Barrel had 250 rounds through it before firing this group and the bore has not been cleaned except for a couple passes with a boresnake when it was first assembled. |

Is the barrel 14.5" + the Vortex, or 16" + vortex? |

No, the LMT upper is going on a Colt lower. This one is an RRA upper on a DPMS lower. |

I really like the Troy handguards. Easy to install, very stable and the fit and finish are perfect. They're tough to beat especially for the price. |

That thing sucks ass!
 J/K  I love it! And have had the pleasure of shooting it.  Get lane 11 or 12 next time and use the good table I'm certain that it'll get even better groups but I'm not complaining about thoses ones at all.It's a very well balanced and thought out AR ! |

that is definately one of THE best rifle's i have seen put together... its so similar to mine but its still really awesome... i haven't been struck by a rifle in a while... EXCELLENT JOB... as you can see my rifle is very similar... how much do those rails weight anyways? Thanks! and keep going... sucks you live so far away... i'd love to blast that thing

oh and well done on replacing the houge with the magpul once it comes out... i'm really considering getting one but i think i'll have to wait until giffman gets one so i can try it out

Yeah, and so do ours!  I like the look of the ACOG on there. I've been thinking of doing that too but it'll be a few months before I'll be able to afford one. |
