No, the hole is larger than a standard sling swivel.

What instructions? The only instructions I've seen are the pdf files on Troy's web site that tell how to install it and they don't mention the other holes at all. |

I called Troy and ask if they sell a sling stud for the holes.They told me not at this time, but they are considering it.They also told me what size but i forgot.I am no help.

My MRP has such hole. PRI sells a top rail for their tubes with hole and advertises them as "ARMS compatible" ??? |

The ones on the top are likely there to connect to one of these:

If I see that correctly it is some kind of rail? Why would the mil spec rails require a riser rail? |

The threaded holes that go into lots of rail systems. The top rail on my PRI handguards has some similar holes, which are for the ARMS SPR rail. I don't know if the other rail systems have them for the same reason or not.

Thanks Zak, however that wouldn't work on an MRF. Looking at the picture it looks like that rail steps down 3 times to match the contour of the carbon fiber handguard. The MRF matches up to the rail on the upper.
Those would be the ones... |

Yeah, I would think there would be zero use for an SPR rail on a TROY system, since the TROY is similar to the URXII ( continuous rail ). |

Could it be for the ARMS #35 "Track Mount" rings that screw directly into the threaded holes of other ARMS products?
