I am tackling this for the first time. My main question is how tight do I need to tighten the new barrel nut? Is it also a good idea to use a little loc-tite?

ABSOLUTELY NO LOCKTITE!!!!!

- Apply moly grease anti-seize compound to the threads
- Tighten the barrel nut to 30ftlbs
- Tighten the barrel nut just enough to get the holes to line up correctly for the gas tube to be installed.
