I have almost everything in hand for my version of the SAM-R.

I had the barrel made without the flats for the front sight ladder since some gas blocks would not cover them. I am also going with a crowned muzzle on this one instead of a flash hider.

Which gas block should I use? I have a Knights gas block on hand but wondered if there was a better choice.
