I'm in the process of deciding if I want Daniel Defense or Larue rails on my 16" Dissipator.

I like the Larue system since it has the locking pins that prevent the rail system from moving.

But I like the Daniel Defense system because the rails are shaped in an ogive, such that the width is smaller on the sides.

Has anyone actually measured both (with and without rail panels)?

IIRC, there is little dimensional difference between the two.  Can't remember exact numbers, just remember that they were extremely close.
