I don't know what you would consider as "cheap", but Fulton Armory sells M16A1 Colt GI 20" chromelined barrels new in wrap for $199.95
That said, if you just want to do a beater, plinking project, there are a lot of cheaper alternatives, you can find complete uppers for the price of 1 GI barrel. |

Century has some for 60 bucks, but you have to buy 2.

I have a feeling you'll be able to have your pick of plinker/beater grade barrels CHEAP after September 14!
