Got a barrel from RRA today and there are NO markings on the top.

M4 barrel from the website.

Shouldn’t there be something on such a barrel?

Think I read somewhere that they are putting some sort of mark on the chrome lined M4 type barrels, but apart from that, totally bare

US Military contract barrels are marked.  Civilian barrels don't need to be.  Marking doesn't mean the barrel is off a military contract or even mil spec though.
