Does anybody know if the Barrett 6.8mm rifles or uppers are available yet? I've emailed them, but have not got a reply yet. I've seen magazine shoots and testing, but nobody has posted owning one yet to my knowledge.

It's cheaper to have MSTN custom make one for you.
And HE has them available. |

Okay, I just called Barrett. It is not available yet. Sometime in the next couple of weeks if all goes well. Lady I talked to said 2 to 4 weeks but wasn't 100%.
$2535 complete rifle. 5 and 10 round mag. 100 rounds of ammo. Case. |

Exactly. I got an incredible upper configured the WAY I WANT from MSTN for about $800 less. $800 pays for a bunch of lowers, ammo, cases, mags, etc. Plus, it's a custom/made to order upper. The Barrett isn't the cleanest looking weapon. |

Thats exactly why they are going to lose out on the civie market! Since you have builders like MSTN and other companies that can make you a complete rifle for less than that and just as good! Bigant |

+1 (my first!) I had a line on about 200 rounds of 6.8 SPC, but no upper. Still, 200 rounds isn't even one shooting session, and I sure as heck don't need another caliber to reload for. Until 6.8 is plentiful (and cheap!) I don't see it taking over the 5.56 throne. I did hear that Wolf is thinking about making 6.8 SPC ammo though. THAT might change my mind, although I don't shoot Wolf through my LMT M4 now........ Scott |

BINGO brother!!!! Hi Aimless!!!  I said the VERY SAME THING this morning on the way to a gun show with the lads. I saw Bravo Company has 6.8 uppers for $600 or so. Any opinion them? Hep |

 Hey, will a 6.8 UPPER work with a 5.56 AR LOWER? I know the mags have issues and you need to "upgrade"...but aside from that, AR LOWERS??? |
