I've looked at pictures of the two, and I can't tell any differences between the two.  

Can someone explain?

Well, It did until I realized that the picture I was sent of the "Carbine Standard" was in fact just another picture of the Carbine Clubfoot.

like bravo said.  if you use a single point sling, or other arrangement which prohibits using the sling to press the stock into the shoulder, the clubfoot is for you.  it's ugly as hell, but i really dig mine!
