i was wondering how much a standard (not freefloat) ,a2 length,4 rail handguard  with the rib panels and vertical grip normally cost ? (preferably Knights Armament)

The Surefire 73 HG is around $170, considerably less than the KAC version, believe C4Grant on the EE or Industry forum sells them, IIRC.

I have one and it's quite solid when mounted properly and KAC or Yankee Hill panels (1/2 the cost of KAC panels) will fit, if ya don't care for the rubber ladder dealies that come w/ the 73.
