Just put a coat of OD on my "field" Glock which, added with my camoed "field" AR pretty much rounds out my field gear.

Now, on to my trunk gun... It's going to be a trunk/patrol rifle and primarily used on urban terrain as a CQB-type tool. Just for S&G's, I was thinking about painting it a gray (battleship, maybe?). Seems like it would suit the urban terrain pretty well. Any thoughts?

Yes. Grey is very good, in my opinion. krylon makes a good grey in their camo line. [:D]

I still use a traditional film camera. No digital for me. I'll have the roll finished this week and try to get them developed asap.

Going to Walley world tomorrow to grab some gray paint.

What is this "roll" that you speak of? I finally broke down and got a digital camera last year, they are a fun and a lot easier to use for casual photographers

Don't forget to get some red, black and white to complete the paintjob [:D]

That's great. I have considered puting together an AR for my girlfriend, and thought I might do some artwork or some funky colors on it.

The paint he uses is from Lauer Custom Weapons (look in the Industry section). I have an AR that was painted by Lauer and the paint is pretty tough. After a year and half of hard use and I have no idea how many 1000's of rounds the only wear is on the shell deflector, where the ejection port door hits the lower, and around the bottom of the mag well; and the wear is very minor.
