Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 24 inch - stainless or not?

I am looking at buying a 24 inch upper and see that they are offered in stainless steel as well.  What is the scoop?  Why would I choose stainless over a chrome lined barrel?  Do they last longer/shorter, more accurate, etc? (yes - I am kinda new at this stuff)
