I was wondering what barrel length, 11.5" or 10.25", is overall better.  Does one have better accuracy than the other and does one give the rifle a better balance?  Any one with experience with one or both and what are your opinions on them.

If you want to mount an M203 then go with the 11.5" barrel.

There is a good reference at Maryland AR-15.com. Basically, 14.5" or as close as you can get.
