If I wanted to get into this, say with 9MM, which is the most likely to run without a hitch? I would just want one for fun, but I don't want to have to mess around trying to get it to run right.

I have an Olympic 9mm upper and use a SOCOM block and Sten mags.  Extremely reliable for me.
