I just sold one, still got one on my Colt. I'm moving to all free floating RAS, the M5 is the last one that's non-free floating.

THE U.S.M.C. IS GOING TO THE KAC M5 RAS IN A BIG WAY. THEY DID NOT JUST FALL OFF THE TURNIP TRUCK WHEN IT COMES TO WARFIGHTING.

I have mine on an A2 H-bar right now. When I sell off some stuff and get my 1/7 20" Govt barrel flat top upper, my A4-gery will be complete, TA31 ACOG and all. [:D]

The M5 RAS is cool. I bought mine for a ridiculously low price when no one knew what to make of them. Then the Marines go to the M16A4 and I am suddenly the coolest kid on the block.
