Hey guys,

I've got a Preban Eagle Arms carbine that I put a Bushmaster M4 barrel on a few years ago.

The rifle came from the factory new with an aluminum 3 position collapasable stock, A2 upper receiver, 16" HBAR Barrel that had an old faux XM-177 style flash hider over the barrel.

Anyway I need to get a flat top upper receiver for an upcoming project.  My question is, which upper receiver would best match (fit and finish) the Eagle Arms lower....I checked the Eagle Arms website and they are not making flat top upper receiver....My understand is that Eagle Arms changed over to Armalite shortley after the 1994 ban, would their flat top upper match the finish on the preban Eagle Arms lower?  Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I just completed a build with a "RRA" A4 flat-top upper 24" SS bull on an "Eagle Arms/Armalite" lower.  The match was perfect in both color and fit.  BTW I used "RRA" parts in the lower to include a "RRA" NM trigger.  It is smooooth!  Haven't fire it yet, but I have great expectations (Hoo-ah).HTH
