I have 14.5", M4's, with both the 4 slot and 5 slot Phantoms. And they "look" totally cool! [8D]

How much dust does it kick up when you are shooting in prone? When AWB sunsets I'm thinking about putting either Phantom or KKF A3G2 FS on mine and I can't decide. I do know Phantom should have better flash suppression but most of the time I shoot in prone so if it kicks a lot of dust that might be a problem for me.

A decent amount.  Thats why Ive considered going with one of KKF's long A2 flash supressors.

Did you ever make any of your own custom designs with an EDM machine, Lumpy?

Have someone local thats eventually going to whip up a thought Ive had about fixing the downward muzzle blast problem.  He has one prototype, but the problem is the Vortex and Phantom are efficient flashhiders because they actually twist the burning powder residue and not having the ports balanced on all sides eliminates that to a certain degree.

I've gotta say, those new style Phantoms look castrated.Without the sharp edges they just don't look right.
