Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Differences between "M" and "C"-marked SIRs

So what exactly is the difference between a #45M and #45C.  I know that it's Military vs. Civilian, but what are the physical/functional differences between the two?  Just curious...thanks in advance.

Military model needs the delta ring removed

Civilian is a snap on model with the delta ring attached.

The C models use the existing delta ring assembly to mount to the receiver.

The M models require removal of the delta ring assembly.
