Does Armalite use .223 or 5.56 for their chambers? I have a pretty new Armalite 20" M15A2 upper with chrome lined barrel. I'm Asking this for a potential buyer.

If you pull off the top handguard, and look at the top of the barrel near the barrel nut, if there is a stamped "N", it is a 5.56 Nato chamber in your rifle. Look carefully, it can be hard to spot.
