Here's an email I recieved from Jeff at TD...[:D]

Thank you for contacting us. We are indeed releasing our Vertical
BATTLEGRIP tm
in Aug. for military sales comittments and in Sept for civilian sales. We
are not releasing images until Aug to the public.

Purchase price (retail) is about $60.00 which is a steal considering what
you get: Dual locking bar design will not fail at keeping the grip at the
address you select, even under severe muzzle impact. Molded-in dovetailed
pressure switch pocket holds switch securely without velcro or glue, you
can insert supplied filler panel when switch is not in use. Internal cavity
is waterproof to 200 feet and can store a spare bolt assy or batteries,
etc. Cap cannot be lost. Entire grip is molded of ultra-high impact resin
that will outlast aluminum products with no corrosion or heat conducting
problems.

Crane NSWC is receiving first shipment for Special Forces use. Hope this
satisfies your curiosity for now. This will be the superior vertical fore
grip at any price.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey M. Cahill

I should have a picture shortly.  They get them in for post production finish, and then ship them to me, it will be still a few more days.  trust me, i will have a picture up for you in short time.

BTW, just in case the the suspense is not getting to you, I am going to check out their new rail panels which will fit and lock into probably every darn rail interface handguiard on the market and it will also have a tape switch slot like the front grip.  From the design drawing, this is one bad ass panel, so you guys with Firsh, up coming POF rail, C-more,  or Bushmaster, you will have a KAC looking panel locking into your handguard in the near future.

Will the panels with tape switch slot fit the good old RAS also?  Yes please!

the rail panels may still need some final tweaking - i'm getting together with jeff to look at the SLA models in the next couple of days.  they won't be available when the vertical is released, but should follow soon after.
you should be seeing pics of the vertical sometime next week - either on chen's wood floor or my familiar OD poncho liner [:)]
after the inital snapshots, i'll be working on the photographs for the TD website and press releases.
cheers,
MM
