My ELISCO(licensed mfg by COLT)w 14.5"bbl has a pitted bore. Is there any way to remedy this or if I get a new barrel which of the barrel makers are recommendable that offers good quality and fair price? Thanks

Try one of the aggressive bore cleaners like Butches' Bore Shine or USP Bore Paste and work the stuff hard with a copper brush. If there's missing medal nothing is going to replace it.

I like Bushmaster's chrome lined, military chambered barrels.
