A while ago I asked if anyone had seen pictures of, or knew of, any US Military forces currently using the SIR system, as ARMS and several publications have claimed. The post eventually got off on another tangent, but the issue went unresolved.

Several respondents to my original post said that info. "proving" that the SIR was in use would surface, but I have not seen it.  Has anyone?

Thanks for the input.

Will

I still have not seen a single SIR in action (although it is POSSIBLE that one is seen in the NV Lynch rescue footage)

I removed mine, but it was in US military service.  Photo of it looks like all the rest.

NO simple answer if it has been in service as long as ARMS says a photo would have surfaced.

I've seen a pic or two of Security detail types in the 'stan with SIRs mounted(on this site). Yet to see some ground pounders with them though.
