Way to throw red meat to the wolves, Wes... (At least this wolf) As if I'm not poor enough already! My wallet is cringing as we speak!
But seriously: This is great news! Personally I prefer my stocks a little shorter than normal (being 5'9" and all). A clubfoot modstock in an A1 length is a Godsend! Thanks for the heads up Wes! |

I called a couple of months back asking whether they were going to make their stocks in an A1 length, but they said they weren't...but that things could change if the demand was there...I GUESS IT'S THERE! YES! Like if I haven't bought enough stuff my AR!! **WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO USE MY WILDERNESS SINGLE POINT SLING WITH THIS STOCK? **WHY IS THE CLUBFOOT BETTER THAN THE STANDARD LOOKING VLTOR STOCK? JUST MOUNT IT VIA THE INCLUDED QD SWIVEL TO THE FORWARD OF THE TWO FIXED STOCK SLING MOUNTING POINTS ON THE VLTOR RIFLE STOCK. ***"WHY IS THE CLUBFOOT BETTER THAN THE STANDARD LOOKING VLTOR STOCK?" IT'S NOT NECESSARILY "BETTER". IT DOES, HOWEVER, OFFER THE SHOOTER WORKING PRONE OFF THE BIPOD OR A REST A CONVENIENT MEANS OF SUPPORTING THE BUTTSTOCK WITH THE NON-DOMINANT HAND. YOU SEE THE SAME FEATURE ON MANY SNIPER STOCKS, SUCH AS THE MCMILLAN A4 AND A5 STOCKS, THE ACCURACY INT'L AW STOCK, THE SAKO TRG 22/42 STOCK, ETC. ***"THE CLUBFOOT SEEMS FUNKY TO ME." THE APPEARANCE IS ADMITTEDLY A BIT RADICAL. BUT, SO WAS THAT OF THE ORIGINAL M16 WHEN IT WAS INTRODUCED. Just got of the phone with VLTOR. He stated that he MAY make a run of A1 length rifle stock in STANDARD form just to have in stock. If so, this is the one I'm going for...
Thanks for the repy, Wes; It's appreciated. One last thing: If I use that QD swivel then I won't need that GGG adapter plate, right? That means I won't increase the length of the VLTOR stock like I had to with the A1 stock I have on now because of the PLATE. |

YOU WILL ELIMINATE THE 0.125" THICKNESS OF THE GG&G MOUNT WITH THE VLTOR AND STILL BE ABLE TO GO SINGLE POINT.
A1 STANDARD RIFLE MODSTOCK COMING? SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE! WES |

WITH A VLTOR RIFLE STOCK, ANY RIFLE RECEIVER EXTENSION WILL WORK. ALSO, COLT OR MILSPEC CARBINE RECEIVER EXTENSIONS WILL WORK WITH THE VLTOR RIFLE STOCKS, AS WELL.
