YES YES YES!!!!!!! Post pics of it on your 10.5 upper. That way I can see if I want to go that route. I have been toying with one of these foregrips on my 10.5 your keepin for me. But I was leaning away from it since it seems longer than the KAC. Of course it could be the same length. I will email you soon Wes, about the upper and how I want to outfit it. Still waiting on the paperwork from ATF so I havent been on it like I should be. I am dying to get this upper set up and HERE[:)]
ps. Do you think it would be possible to re-thread the grip and still use the plug for the bottom? Horik(AY) |

IT is simple but I have it on my patrol rifle and I would like to be able to take it off quick and slide on my harris bipod (throw lever) and go from cqb to perimeter gun in a flash

A 7/32 hex, to be exact. Took me better of a damn half hour to find mine! It's as simple as loosening the three screws. Quick enough, but not fast.
Seriously thinking of trying out your grip "diet", but my big hooks barely fit as it is when gloved. |

YEP, IT'S THE PRECISION REFLEX MOUNT.
I DESIGNED THE PROTOTYPE BACK IN '95. [ I'VE BEEN AN AIMPOINT FAN FOR A LONG TIME. ] THE FIRST ONE WAS STOUT ENOUGH TO MOUNT ON A .50 BMG. I AM NOT MUCH ON MATERIALS SCIENCE. THIS LITTLE GUN IS TRULY A NEAT RIG: RUNS RELIABLY WITH ALL DECENT AMMO AT 650 -725 RD/MIN. HAS NO APPRECIABLE MUZZLE RISE. THE BULLET'S NOT IN THE BARREL LONG ENOUGH! SHOOTS SUB-MOA WITH MATCH AMMO AND LEUPOLD LRM3!!! I DON'T BLAME YOU IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME. THE KAC 2-STAGE SEMI/SINGLE STAGE FULL AUTO TRIGGER IS A BIG HELP. WES |

THE TAPE SWITCH IS SECURED VIA VELCRO HOOK AND LOOP. RUBBER O-RINGS CAN BE USED TO FURTHER SECURE THE PAD TO THE GRIP.

Are the M900's too bulky for shorties? I have one on my 14.5 and was hoping to use it on a future 10.5. Never been a fan of velcro or sticky pressure switches, but love that compact look! See many pushbutton tailcap rigs?

Excellent Wes! The Dieter grip is one of the few items I have not bought from you. I always thought it was a tad bulky (I wear medium gloves). Now it looks appealing. To bad I already blew my money wad as already noted. It will have to go on my wish list for now...

Can it be done post-ban at all? Thanks! You would need to make sure SBR's are legal in your state and go from there. BUT you can make a post ban an SBR. You register the lower reciever not the upper. When all this is done(ATF form1, approval, etc.) you can then take possesion of the upper. Remembering you still need to comply with the AR's postban status! SBR changes nothing but the bbl. length you can legally use. Best to check the M16 forum for plenty of info! |
