Remember the best looking stock is the one that keeps you alive.
That said here are some direct comparison M93 and Crane pics. Next thing up is the storage/battery pack tail units for the M93. The M94 and M95 (which are design related) will be built but the problem is limited CNC machine time and too many projects in the pipeline.(Currently my patents outnumber my products 5 to 1) |

How far off are the cheeck weld inserts from production? Also, I haven't seen any current photos of the QD sling mounts. Were they eliminated from the final cut?

Yes will we have KAC type QD sling mounts? I removed my single point sling mount as it makes my hand catch when I use the PRI gas buster in a hurry. I would like something that attaches the sling swivle lower like the KAC unit that goes in front of stock.
On a related note... has anyone else had their gas buster make 3 distinct scrape marks on the cheek weld of their M93 stock? |

I have found that my MSS M-93 extends and collapses just as fast as the stock 6 posn,of course with the M-93 you can preset it to different lengths with the included blocks,so there is no guess work when extending it and no need to count holes to get it to your custom length.As well the presets can be set so you have a normal stock position and one for body armor/ghille suits,shooting jacket,etc.

Last i heard, ARMS was giving up on its plans to do the Crane Stock. I hope I am wrong, but I swear remember reading this at least a couple times. Some one proove me wrong please.

From my understanding, ARMS has not paid Crane for the licensing right's to produce the Crane stock. At this time, only Lewis Machine and Tool has stepped up to the plate and are in the process of developing the tooling. We may stocks by the end of the year, but don't hold your breath.
The Crane stock is like the Shrike, delivery dates keep getting pushed back. ls |

ARMS holds aCrane license to make the stock, but won't. I do not know why. I do know, so I'll state it, when I asked Dick Swan if ARMS will be offering the stock commercially, his response was "no". Take it for what its worth. I did not ask for clarification. "No" could mean, "no, not now", or "no, no immediate plans" but my response to "no" was "wow, do you have any idea how these things would sell?" as shallow as that makes me sound, its the truth, so I gotta admit it. His response to that 2nd question was "no, how well?" (He didn't sound convinced). Sorry ARGuy, you and I are in the same boat. I'd love to see it happen. I'll try and convince them, heck if I got my GF to date me a second time, I have a shot at anything.[;)] S2 Out.

SULACO2, you could always start an online petition to get them to do it, hehe. From what I heard, Swan didn't think the cost of tooling and the royalty fee would justify building these things. For a $300 stock, a good portion of that would go back to Crane, and then they have to invest a huge amount of money for molds and materials, only to sell a limited number of buttstocks due to the recent releases of the M93 and VLTOR.
Besides, ARMS is supposed to have a buttstock project of their own in the works. Or at least, that's the rumor. -Cap'n |

The latest issue of SOF has an article about the New Crane/ ARMS stock. Its written by Gary Paul Johnson, Now I know his facts and reviews are usually a bit, well how should I say it?, $$$ motivated and not entirely accurate, but he does state it will be made by ARMS, no mention as to it being released to civvies. cp |

After using all of the above, I prefer the Magpul. All are nice and have great features but only one can be the Best. The Magpul will offer more options than any of them.

I too prefer the Magpull. Have had it on my gun for a couple of weeks now. Although i must admit i've always been a fan of placing a rubber recoil pad on my carbine stocks, i doubt if the standard type would fit the Magpull. i guess that is my only complaint to date. Anybody know if there is a rubber type pad that would fit the Magpull?
