Ok-  I know that the new heavier 75/77gr.'s are performing farther out than the 55/62gr. variants in M4's w/ 1/7 twists.  But that would get expensive to shoot all the time, and also might not always be available.  How would the 55 and 62 gr's do in a 1/7" twist 14.5".  Would the combo degrade their performance?
Is it a win win situation or win lose?

Sorry, repeated in Ammo. forum)

Just from what I am told on this board, shooting 55 grain in a 1 in 7 twist, you will only see slightly degraded accuracy at 300+yards.

Just what I have read on here.  Same post is also said, "That is why 1 in 7 twist is the true universal barrel".

Just what they say

I've been shooting surplus SA through my 1 in 7 with no complaints thus far.

From me or the gun!   [heavy]

Never noticed any problems shooting 55gr in 1/7 myself...

Yep, and that is also backed up by Kevin_B, an active duty soldier who seems to have a bunch of experience.  So, yep, I'd say you're good to go with the 1:7 and 55 gr stuff.

Thank you all guys, very much, I appreciate it.  Though I read my posts I don't always get a chance to post a reply.  However I welcome any additional advice.
