Just from what I am told on this board, shooting 55 grain in a 1 in 7 twist, you will only see [i] slightly[/i] degraded accuracy at 300+yards.
Just what I have read on here. Same post is also said, "That is why 1 in 7 twist is the [i]true[/i] universal barrel". Just what they say |

I've been shooting surplus SA through my 1 in 7 with no complaints thus far.

Never noticed any problems shooting 55gr in 1/7 myself...

Just what they say Yep, and that is also backed up by Kevin_B, an active duty soldier who seems to have a bunch of experience. So, yep, I'd say you're good to go with the 1:7 and 55 gr stuff. |
