Hi guys!!  This board has been the biggest help in my new addiction!!  Anways, I wanted to ask a question about accuracy regarding some rifles I plan on building from parts.  I know alot of it boils down to the person, but what will the difference be between say a 24" Varminter bought complete from BM or if I build one my self?  I mean does the A,B,C's match uppers and lowers or do they just toss them together and make complete guns to sell?  I plan on buying a bunch of lowers, and on of my projets include a 24".  Thanks for any help!!!

Only the barrel, handguard and bolt matter.

Handguard is ff or not. Barrel should be quality, and best results have fitted bolts.

shootemup,

The truth is that most rifles are going to be more accurate than the shooter.  Most people can't tell the difference.  That being said, if you plan on building a serious rifle for serious shooting, reread what Troy wrote.

I've been thinking about doing a match bolt job on a bushmaster I'm ordering.  I'm aiming it for accuracy.  Basically, it's a varminter with a National Match chrome 24".  Bushmaster said they can do a bolt match for it, is it worth it??
