The pin is there; it's been welded over and the Y-Comp refinished. And, yes, the barrel is threaded underneath.

Thanks, Troy! Could the Y-Comp be removed and a replaced with a flash hider? Not holding my breath, but got to plan in case the sun goes down on the AWB! [<]:)]

Yes, it could. You could also have it replaced with a less obnoxious (sound-level-wise) and better looking brake in the meantime. See Kurt's Kustom forum in the Industry section for more info.
