Measure the front pivot pin where the lower and upper pivot. A large pin is .312" in diameter and a small pin (standard) is .250" in diameter.

'Slab-side' refers to the older SP_1 receivers. They lack the ridge surrounding the mag release that was incorporated on the A1, giving them a slab-sided appearance.

Oh yeah, I forgot about those. I was referring to the lower only.
Large pivot pins usually have a twin screw set up, instead of the more common front push-pin that everyone else uses. |
