OK why would I need this? How often would you need to do speed reloads with a AR-15/M-16?

I was talking about the magwell. The Purple AR was just a bonus.

Isn't every reload supposed to be a speed reload?

Having just shot my first 3-gun match, I can see where it would come in handy.  I like it.

Hey, that matches my Bushmaster lower. [:D]
Just kiddin'
With anodizing, you could make just about any color you could want, unfortunately.
You'd find that at your local Pink Pistols establishment.
All kidding aside, I think I'll pass.

IMO, it makes the rifle look like a shop-vac.

With the right adapter you could use it to vacuum drapes.

Sure looks like a virgin rifle.  Not a single ding on its purple anodized brass deflector.

Nothing worse than a rifle in a toy-like ridiculous color...  a rifle that hasn't been fired.

And WHY would someone want to bridge the gap between completely fake looking toy guns today and the real thing...  Maybe get the drop on the cop who might hesitate because a real gun is made to look like a kid's toy?  Just what we need...

Perfect!  Here is my solution for buying more guns.

My old lady says that I can't buy any more guns unless they are purple, since that is her favorite color.

She thinks that I will not buy purple guns.

Guess I'll have to come home with one of these uglies for her.

Ha!

I like mag funnels but why do you have to make it 1.75inches tall? That's ugly as shit. (the mag well is allready funneled but another .25in of width wouldn't hurt- it'ld still be ugly but then you could really throw the mags in and out.

[it's like 1911's- a good funnel means that you don't have to use your index finger to guide the mag into the grip; you just slam it home]

Flamboyant purple or just purple-ish? Would a 'purple' Bushmaster count?  Or plum shaded blueing?  I don't care what anybody says, I kinda like this AR _because_ it's obnoxious.  The bolt/carrier should be TiN coated though...[@:D]

This is definitely one of JP Enterprisespieces, from both the anodizing and the integrated buttstock and pistol grip. Although I like the blue alot better.
