A standard buffer tube is the same for the A1 or A2, you just don't add the buffer tube spacer.  You will however need to use the short screw that goes through the buttplate and bolts to the back end of the buffer tube.  If the A1 is still too long then you might consider our short tactical stock, the Sully Stock, that is 8-1/8" in length.  You can add a 1" spacer to it to obtain 9-1/8" in length which gives you two options below the A1.
