I'm relatively new to ARs and haven't a lot of knowledge...where can I find the cheapest source for complete Bushmaster uppers?

The best deals can be had in EE.  You can pick up some lightly used BM uppers and parts for good prices, there are also dealers that have sales, I think there is one having a sale right now on BM uppers

Depends on which upper you want.

20" HBAR uppers are probably easier to find than 14.5" M4 because of demand for carbines.

Nice thing about Bushmaster rifles is you don't need Bushmaster uppers.  I've had genuine M4, M16A1, and M16A2 uppers which drop right on.
